Delete your account

Last updated: July 9, 2026

The short version. Deleting your Jourvelope account permanently removes your Google identity from our systems, unlinks your subscription from your account, and erases all local data on your device. It does not cancel your active Google Play subscription — you have to do that yourself in the Play Store.

1. What gets permanently deleted

When you delete your account, all three of the following happen:

2. What deleting your account does NOT do

Important. Deleting your Jourvelope account does not cancel your active Google Play subscription. Google Play requires that you cancel subscriptions yourself. If you delete your account without also canceling, Google will keep billing you until the end of the current billing period.

Before or after you delete, please open the Play Store subscription page and cancel:

Deleting your account does not affect Jourvelope data stored on other devices where you may still be signed in — you would need to delete on each device (or uninstall the app there).

3. How to delete your account

You have two options:

  1. In the app (recommended) — Open Jourvelope, go to Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. A confirmation dialog will list every consequence again. Once you confirm, the deletion is immediate.
  2. By email — Send a request from the Google account email you signed in with to aliatwork364@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete my Jourvelope account". We process web requests within 30 days.

4. Data retention after deletion

Once deletion completes:

5. Free (non-signed-in) users

If you never signed in for Jourvelope+, we do not have any record of you to delete. You only need to clear local data:

6. Questions

If any part of the deletion process didn't complete cleanly, or you have questions about what was removed, please email aliatwork364@gmail.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
